Kayak eco tours begin at our easy launch floating dock on the edge of Terra Ceia Bay. Your kayak paddling eco adventure will be in the waters of a natural living estuary. You will travel through mangrove tunnels, see Ospreys, Herons, Egrets and many other birds. You will see fish like mullet jumping, redfish, snook, jack and maybe even a tarpon. A kayak tour as short as an hour can give your mind a break. Kayak as long as you like... custom tailored paddle plans can be arranged. Our Snead Island Launch site is convenient to Emerson point preserve, Terra Ceia Bay, Champlain Bayou, Clambar Bayou, Rattlesnake Key and the mangrove tunnels and lakes therein. Also, Bird Key , Little Bird Key, Flounder Pass, Miguel Bay, Critical Creek. (rum runners used it get away from the feds) And many as-of-yet unnamed lakes, bayous and estuary creeks to explore. Manatee county, the real Florida...No big castles with famous mice with big ears and such. (well there is this really cool bridge nearby, but you can only see it from Tampa Bay). Our Kayak dock is on the southern edge of the Terra Ceia Aquatic Preserve. The Weather and Tides Link Page
